Glorious Golden Falcon Keyword

The Glorious Golden Falcon is a wing of the Rinliddi army. Commanded by Vrimarch Rasidor Kasdeck, they have been tasked with guarding the Engiziland Expedition. The wing is eighty men strong, with fifty one infantry men, twenty one archers and eight support or command officers. The infantry and archer sections are each commanded by a vrimon, who report directly to the Vrimarch. The soldiers are then broken down into ten men squads, each lead by a vrim.

The infantry is armed with spears and large shields. The archers have bows, as well as short swords and bucklers. The soldiers uniform is basic, consisting of  leather armor with a few feathers woven in, as well as a metal helmet. The helmet is shaped like a birds head. [See the helmet on the cover of the ILH.] Officers wear feathered plumes atop their helmet as well as capes adorned with feathers. The extravagance of the feathers shows the officers rank. The Vrimarch's cape goes nearly to his feet and shows the design of a falcon in flight, picked out in feathers of every color.

Vrimarch Rasidor Kasdeck: Kasdeck is the leader of the Falcon.

Vrivrimeron Tolm Vermick: Vermick is the Vrivrimeron or second in command of the Falcon. A younger officer, he has seen his share of battles against the Lakrenian barbarians. Vermick has served with the Falcon for some time and knows the individual soldiers far better then the Vrimarch.

Tek: Tek is the cook for the Falcon. While he holds no rank, the soldiers respect Tek and generally do as he says. The one who don't get nothing but burned bread and cold soup for food. Tek is an experienced army cook and can make a full meal out of almost anything.

Toas Toas: Toas is the best soldier in the Falcon and he doesn't care who knows it. He can take any other soldiers in the wrestling ring and sometimes two of them at once. Getting to ride Keros's horse for the first leg of the journey has made him rather cocky and his commanding officer is looking for a way to take him down a notch or two, just in case he decides to start some trouble.

Guardian:

The Golden Falcon.

The Golden Falcon has been the guardian for the Glorious Golden Falcon's since the wings founding. Discovered on the surface of the Red Moon by the wings original commander, Tel Tredus, the Golden Falcon has been living in the wings standard since. The standard is a solid golden pole, nine feet tall, topped by a falcon of gold. Being solid gold, it's far too heavy to an average man to lift, but for any member of the Glorious Golden Falcon, the standard is as light as a feather. Before a member of the Glorious Golden Falcon eats any meat, the Golden Falcon requires that they throw a small bit high into the air for the Falcon. The soldiers never look up to watch the meat and the meat never falls to the ground again.

Method: Emanation

Form: The Golden Falcon sits atop a golden pole that weighs nothing when carried by a member of the hero band.

Communication: The Golden Falcon flaps it's wings and screeches to communicate. Members of the hero band hear it speaking in Rinliddi. Everyone else hears a falcons call.

Guardian Requirements: When eating, throw a small piece of the meat into the air for the Golden Falcon to eat.
