Things that Haven’t Happened Yet

Remember that we are playing far in the past of the “current” Heroquest timeline. A lot of very pivotal events have not yet occured. Depending on how the game goes, they might never occur...

The Imperial Lunar Handbook Vol. 1. has a basic timeline of the Lunar Empire on page 6. We are at the end of the Second Wane.

Sheng Seleris is still 20 years in the future. This means that the Emperor has never died, and the Moon has never been invaded. The Emperor has not fathered Yara Aranis, and without her, there are no Temples to the Reaching Moon and, more importantly, no Glowline.

Moonson has only had one Inspiration so far (the city of Glamour). Yara Aranis (Second Inspiration) HonEel (Third) and JarEel (Fourth) haven’t been needed yet.

Oraya and the Redlands have not been conquered.

The mad Sultan has not been forced into Tork yet – he and his band of chaos-crazed followers are a constant threat to the safety of the Empire.

The Syndic’s Ban (In the West) is still far in the future.

New Pelorian has not been invented yet. Dara Happan is the Lingua Franca of the Empire.
